Students are expected to come to P.E. with the proper shoes (no boots, sandals or high heels) and attitude. Participation and attitude are the main focus in my Physical Education class. We will be following the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for Physical Education as our guideline. Everyone starts off with a grade of 100% and it is up to the student to come to class prepared and ready to participate. Students will be deducted points for wearing improper shoes, showing poor attitude/sportsmanship, not participating or continuing talking/disrupting when students are lined up to be explained the lesson/rules. Safety is a top priority so students must listen to instruction at all times. The proximity of the playground and swings to the physical education field can be a major distraction. Students have been told multiple times that points will be deducted for using playground equipment/swings during P.E. unless told to do so.
